Ron Mix was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 1979. Ron was also inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Ron was the #1 draft pick of the San Diego chargers in the AFL and played 10 years with that team. He was the All-AFL Tackle 8 times, the All AFL-Guard once, selected for 8 AFL All Star games and played in five AFL title games. In 10 years, Ron had only two holding penalties and was nicknamed "The Intellectual Assassin". He also has been unanimously chosen for the AFL's All Time Team. Ron is now a practicing lawyer and very active in the Retired Players Association.
