Emerson Boozer helps guests re-visit the Miracle 69 Jets

Although the kids attending this Bar Mitzvah were way too young to have witnessed the 1969 miraculous victory by the New York Jets over the Baltimore Colts they were in awe of the special guest at this Bar Mitzvah. There are some sports happenings that transcend the ages and this was one of them. Nobody gave the Jets any chance of winning this game but win they did and they put the American Football League on the map in doing so. Everybody young and old wanted to hear Emerson tell how they did it. After all not only did they win the game but Joe Namath and the players had predicted that they would do so. Emerson was mobbed all night talking to both adults and kids alike. He posed for photos with all who wanted them and signed autographs for all the guests who attended the Bar Mitzvah. All who attended had a truly memorable evening that they will remember all their lives.
