Jim Leyritz played 11 seasons in Major League Baseball. Most of these years were for the New York Yankees (1990-1996 and 1999-2000). Jim is best known for his clutch hitting and for hitting one particular home run on October 23, 1996 to help the Yankees beat the Braves and win the game. This gave the Yankees their momentum back and they went on to win the World Series that year.
