Tom Tresh played 9 years in the major leagues for the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers. He had a lifetime batting average of .245 with 153 home runs, 179 doubles, 34 triples, 360 runs scored and 234 RBI’s in his major league career. He won the American League Rookie of the Year award in 1962. He topped 25 home runs three times in his career and three times hit home runs from both sides of the plate in a game.
