Ron Santo played 15 years in the major leagues for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. He had a lifetime batting average of .277 with 342 home runs, 365 doubles, 67 triples, 1138 runs scored and 1331 RBI’s in his major league career. He was a 9-time N.L. all-star between 1963-1973, and received the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award in 1973. He won 5 consecutive Gold Gloves (3B) from 1964-1968, and led the league in triples (13) in 1964.
