Jeff Reardon played 16 seasons in the major leagues for the New York Mets, Montreal Expos, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. He had a career record of 73 wins, 77 losses and 367 saves. His lifetime earned run average was 3.16 and he had 877 strikeouts and 358 bases on balls in his career. He was a member of the 1987 Minnesota Twins championship team. He is a 4-time all-star, twice for the A.L. and twice for the N.L. In 1985 he led the N.L. in saves (41) and was took home the Rolaids Relief award that year.
