Boog Powell played 17 years in the major leagues for the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Dodgers. He had a lifetime batting average of .266 with 339 home runs, 270 doubles, 11 triples, 889 runs scored and 1187 RBI’s in his major league career. He was a member of the 1966 and 1970 Baltimore Orioles championship teams, and also won the A.L. MVP award in 1970. He was a 4-time A.L. all-star from 1968-1971.
