Gil McDougald played 10 years in the major leagues for the New York Yankees. He had a lifetime batting average of .276 with 112 home runs, 187 doubles, 51 triples, 697 runs scored and 576 RBI’s in his major league career. He was a member of 5 Yankee championship teams (1951, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1958). He was a 5-time all-star between the years 1952 and 1959. In 1951 he won the A.L.
