Clem Labine played 13 seasons in the major leagues for the Brooklyn/L.A. Dodgers, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets. He had a career record of 77 wins and 56 losses. His lifetime earned run average was 3.63 and he had 551 strikeouts and 396 bases on balls in his career. He was a member of the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, 1959 L.A. Dodgers and 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates championship teams. He was a 2-time N.L. all-star in 1956 and 1957, and led the league in saves in those 2 years (19, 17).
