Harmon Killebrew played 22 years in the major leagues for the Minnesota Twins, Washington Senators and Kansas City Royals. He had a lifetime batting average of .256 with 573 home runs, 290 doubles, 24 triples, 1283 runs scored and 1584 RBI’s in his major league career. He was an 11-time A.L. all-star between the years 1959 and 1971. He won the A.L. MVP award in 1969. He also led the American League in home runs 6 times between 1959 and 1969, as well as RBI’s 3 times between 1962 and 1971. Harmon was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
