Ferguson Jenkins played 19 seasons in the major leagues for the Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox. He had a career record of 284 wins and 226 losses. His lifetime earned run average was 3.34 and he had 3192 strikeouts and 997 bases on balls in his career. He was a 3-time N.L. all-star and won the Cy Young Award in 1971.
