George Foster played 18 years in the major leagues for the San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets and the Chicago White Sox. He had a lifetime batting average of .274 with 348 home runs, 307 doubles, 47 triples, 916 runs scored and 1239 RBI’s in his major league career. He led the National league in home runs with 52 in 1977 and won the National League RBI title 3 consecutive years (1976-1978). He was a member of two World Series championship teams, the Cincinnati Reds in 1975 and 1976.
