Gary Carter played 19 years in the major leagues for the Montreal Expos, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. He had a lifetime batting average of .262 with 324 home runs, 371 doubles, 31 triples, 1025 runs scored and 1225 RBI’s in his major league career. He was a member of the 1986 World Series champion New York Mets. He was also an 11-time NL-all star, and was voted the NL MVP in 1981 and 1984. He won three gold gloves from 1980-1982 and five silver sluggers awards between 1981 and 1986. Gary was elected to the baseball hall of fame in 2003.
