Bill Buckner played 22 years in the major leagues for the Boston Red Sox. He had a lifetime batting average of .289 with 174 home runs, 498 doubles, 49 triples, 1077 runs scored and 1208 RBI’s in his major league career. He won the National League batting championship in 1974 as a member of the L.A. Dodgers and in 1986 was a member of the AL Champion Boston Red Sox team. In 1980 he won the NL Batting Title.
