Clete Boyer played 16 seasons in the major leagues for the New York Yankees, Kansas City Royals and the Atlanta Braves. He had a lifetime batting average of .242 with 162 home runs, 200 doubles, 33 triples, 645 runs scored and 654 RBI’s in his major league career. He won the gold glove for third base for the National league in 1969. He was a member of two World Series championship teams, the New York Yankees in 1961 and 1962.
